Our Staff
Elizabeth Jackson, LCSW
Welcome, my name is Elizabeth! I was raised in Boise, Idaho and have always felt fortunate to call Idaho home. I am a mother of five children and a grandparent of three; our family values the importance of blending love through adoption and choice. I began my professional career in adoption in 2006, while working with CASI Foundation for Children coordinating international adoptions. I worked with CASI as a caseworker and as a State of Idaho Certified Adoption Professional for many years. As an adoptive parent, an adopted child, and as a woman who previously placed a child in adoption, I can share with you that adoption changes you. I have observed forces of nature, God, or whatever energy that brings together people in the most humbling and beautiful ways. Adoption bridges people with love, sacrifice, and intrinsic tenderness that, to me, has no equal. It is truly an honor to work in adoption, to be part of an agency that we created with love in our hopes and intentions.
Amelia Erickson, BA
Greetings, I am Amelia! I am the Adoptions Caseworker with A Giving Tree Adoptions, founded by Elizabeth Jackson, who is also my mother. Adoption holds a significant place in my family's history, going back to my grandparents who were themselves adopted. I strongly believe that over time, adoption has evolved from being rooted in personal values to becoming a commercialized industry with substantial costs. This shift motivated Elizabeth and me to establish our own agency. After dedicating two years to meticulously crafting our Policy and Procedure, we are driven by the resolve to redirect the focus of adoption onto family and the well-being of adoptive children. Our goal is to support families in growing through adoption, ensuring that with our agency, you are not just a statistic within a system, but an essential part of the adoption family tree.
Ally Mora, LSW
Hello! My name is Ally. I grew up in the Treasure Valley area and have settled down in Canyon County with my husband as we now raise our beautiful daughter. I graduated from Boise State University in 2020 with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and have since acquired a license with the state of Idaho. Some of my prior professional roles involved helping those with disabilities to ensure they could meet personal goals and working alongside Blue Cross of Idaho's true blue members to assist with care coordination scheduling. I believe my previous work helped hone my abilities and desire to create positive changes in the lives of future families, children, and caregiver and I consider it a privilege to be involved in this journey.
